Basic Information 1
|
History 2 Annie lived a fairly ordinary life but died a violent death. She was pushed down the stairs by her fiancee, Owen. She 'fell awkwardly' and died. She came back to haunt the house she died in. There were a series of tenants for the house that didn't work out before George and Mitchell moved in. They were to become her best friends, the people she loved and the people who made her 'real'. She has turned away from Death's door three times, but the third time Mitchell had to go to purgatory to get her. As a ghost, Annie has several abilities: Annie's ability to be seen and heard by normal people depends on her state of mind, though supernatural creatures such as werewolves, vampires and other ghosts can always see her. Annie also seems to be able to teleport short distances. When Annie discovers her cause of death, she becomes a poltergeist, which allows her to move objects without touching them and turn mechanical machines on. However, it seems that she can't control these new-found abilities, which only activate in times of extreme emotion (along with her teleportation). After denying death and not going through the door she found many new abilities such as Telekinesis. Another ability displayed by Annie is when she was able to close the death door and ward off the watchmen. As ghost, Annie is intangible in normal situations, however vampires and werewolves can touch her, maybe is due his supernatural condition. Thanks to Sykes tutoring, Annie has also displayed a form of Telepathy where she is able to share George's senses, and Aura Reading, which lead her to discover a brain tumour in a passer-by. As a ghost Annie, has a deeper understanding of death than human minds are able to understand without going insane, as in the example of Owen. When Owen learned what was beyond death, he went insane saying, "they're after me". |
Personality & Style 3 Annie is the heart of the house. She is the most human. She's optimistic and cheerful, rarely down and if she is down, it's not for long. She's the caregiver in the house, constantly making tea, coffee and food for Mitchell and George despite the fact that she can neither eat nor drink. She may be cold to the touch but she very warm in personality. She's naïve, trusting and a bit awkward around people sometimes. She's overzealous socially, probably due both to her personality and the fact that most people can't see her anymore. She's protective about those she loves and can be fierce when they're threatened. She's much stronger emotionally and mentally than she appears. She's staked vampires before to save people, but often doesn't know how to defend herself. She's very emotional and demonstrative on all levels. When she's happy, she bounces and smiles and laughs. When she's sad, she cries with her whole body. Her style is casual. She's a bit limited in her wardrobe, stuck with a pair leggings, Ugg-style cardigan boots, a white tank top and various incarnations of a grey sweater thing. Her hair is naturally curly and she can manipulate it to some degree as a ghost but never to the extent of changing it's style. |
